Description
The Read-A-Thon is our annual fundraiser that coincides with Read Across America. It encourages literacy and students are able to win prizes for reading. The event runs for two weeks and in 2026 the students combined read over 163,000 minutes! To ensure marketing materials and banner are ready for the event sponsorship is due on or before 1/15/2027. If you would like you name or business logo included on the Glen Arden 2026/2027 t-shirts, sponsorship is due on or before 9/1/2026.
Presenting Sponsor will receive:
- Large logo on Glen Arden 2026/2027 t-shirt*
- Name or business logo on flyers as presenting sponsor
- 4′ x 6′ Banner in the car rider line with name or business information until 8/2027
- Name or Business logo at the event as the presenting sponsor
- Named and tagged in social media posts for the event
- Will be given a shout out in Ms. Kirchner’s weekly all-call for the two weeks leading up to the event.
- Name or business logo on PTO website with link to business
- A shout out on our social media page for being a sponsor
* Sponsorships must be completed by 9/1/2026 to be included in on Glen Arden 2026/2027 shirts
Glen Arden 2026/2027 T-Shirts:
In the fall as part of our Fund Run students, teachers, and staff receive FREE Glen Arden t-shirts. The PTO designs new shirts every year and places our sponsors on the back! These shirts are regularly worn throughout the year, especially to field trips and for spirit days. Families also have the option to purchase additional shirts. Glen Arden Elementary School currently has approximately 500 students and 100 teachers and staff.
